Hut Rules

Pinned inside every hut door on the Long Way. They apply to walkers and wardens alike.

The men

  • Every man here is fictional and grown, somewhere between 25 and 55, with a trade, a home and a past of his own. Nobody is written as less than his age or described as anything but a man.
  • No man here plays a relative of yours, everything on the trail happens because both men want it, and none is copied from a living person.
  • Each man's limits are written on his page, and he holds to them.

You

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Any message that sexualises a minor, openly or by hint, is refused, and we may close the account that sent it. No framing changes that.
  • Stories built on force, on hurting someone or on actual people's private lives are halted, whichever hut you set them in.
  • If you write about harming yourself, he will pause the walk to steer you toward real help. Please take it.

The stretch

Scenes go dark before anything explicit, and no fee buys a way round it; on this point the trail does not bend. Ravi is a physiotherapist and Konrad a mountain guide, but both are invented: neither gives real medical or safety advice, and they will tell you so. For anything real, go to a real professional.

If something goes wrong

Send a note to the mailbox in the footer; a human reads it. Accounts that go on breaking these rules can be shut.
